Free Training Days – for novice athletes

Working in partnership with Triathlon England, we are pleased to offer Free Training Days for all novice athletes that enter any of the Midlands Sprint Triathlon Series pool swim events or the Speedo Big Triathlon Nottingham open water sprint triathlon.

The Training Days will be led by qualified coaches from Triathlon England & will incorporate not only swimming, cycling & running but also transition training & what to expect on the day.  » Read more…

Temporary Staff Vacancy

We are looking for an additional person to fit into our event delivery team. All of the normal rules apply; motivated team player that can work alone, keep a cool head during stressful times, ability to cope with hard & heavy work, etc etc. What really counts to us is that you love what we do! 

The job will start in April & finish in July – depending how it goes. All of our staff started as part timers – that includes the man that started the business 20 years ago. It will involve both working at our offices in Lincoln, staying away during the week & some weekends. It will involve long days & short nights, but most of all, it will be fun!

The 2012 Outlaw Triathlon has now sold out

Nottingham’s Outlaw Triathlon has completely sold out with more than six months to go until race day on 1 July 2012. The long distance triathlon has received an overwhelming response, with 1050 entries selling out much more quickly than anticipated.

The initial entry limit of 1000 entries was reached earlier this week, and a further fifty places were released and sold within a day. » Read more…

Outlaw Triathlon – 50 extra places made available!

We are delighted to announce that following the incredible response to next year’s event we have extended the entry limit to 1050, so we now have an extra fifty places available for the Outlaw Triathlon on 1 July next summer. Anyone wishing to take part in Nottingham’s legendary long distance race should enter immediately to avoid disappointment.

The event, which starts and finishes at Holme Pierrepont National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham, covers a 2.4mile swim, 112mile bike ride and 26.2mile marathon run.
