Just two weeks to go now until the first ever Outlaw Half. We are very pleased with all of our planning and hope that your preparation has gone smoothly.
As the Outlaw Half is a new event then it is more important that every athlete takes time to read the race information, including looking at race maps, knowing when registration is, where to go for race briefing, when transition opens – we could really go on and on!
We uploaded Final Race Information a few weeks back so if you haven’t yet taken time to read and understand it, then do it soon.

It is all to play for at the third and final event of the Midlands Series at the Woodhall Spa Sprint Triathlon.

We have updated the rankings after two events & amazingly, in the mens 25-29 category, only 1 point seperates Aaron Ward & Greg Cherry.

The final event of the series takes place on Sunday 21st July at the Woodhall Spa Sprint Triathlon. Please get your entries in quickly, as we only have 100 places left.

Those eagle eyed amongst you will notice that some athletes in the standard distance had a very quick first run and a slow second run. The reality was that a small number did a short first run & a long second run to make up the distance.

We are grateful for all the athletes that have been honest enough to contact us & help to compile a correct set of results.

Prizes will be sent out in the next few days.

We are no longer taking entries over the phone but there will be entries available ‘on the day‘ between 7am – 8am.

If you are planning to race or spectate, then why not car share, it will save you money when coming into Clumber Park and it’s better for the environment.

Wow the summer has really arrived, praise be! As you can see we did have some help from the big man upstairs yesterday. Long live the sunshine. We all had a great day, excellent racing, lovely people and a brill group of volunteers – thanks to everyone.

For those interested in racing again, we have Clumber Park Duathlon next Saturday, or if you fancy testing yourself on the same course, then come along to the Esendex Last Minute Sprint Triathlon in September – its identical to Southwell Sprint Triathlon – with a different name.

Online entries have now closed for the re-arranged Clumber Park Duathlon that is taking place on Saturday 11th May. If you still wish to enter the duathlon, then please call the office on 01427 718888 between 9.00am – 4.30pm.

For athletes wishing to qualify for the World Duathlon Championships in Canada, this will be the last opportunity.

Race Packs for those athletes already entered have been posted out today, so please look out for them arriving very soon.

We are sure that those that are racing do not need reminding it is just over 4 weeks before the Outlaw Half. And to prove it is only around the corner, we have uploaded the final Race Information and Start List.

If you considering withdrawing, then you have until May 5th to let us know – let us know before the 5th & we will gladly refund part of your entry fee. If you tell us after the 6th May, then we are very sorry, you will not be receiving any form of refund! Please don’t argue, or we will set the Sheriffs men on to you. We have now uploaded the Final Race Information and Final Start Times for next weekends Southwell Triathlon.

Entries are now closed for this event and are unable to accept any on the day entries, however, we are still taking entries for the Clumber Park Duathlon on Saturday 11th May.

We are very sorry but we are unable to change start times for the Southwell Triathlon now and it has gone passed the withdrawal date, which means we will not be issuing any credit notes for those people withdrawing from now on.

Finally the weather gods smiled on us & it was a fantastic day for everyone involved. There was slightly under 500 finishes with Mark Nelson and Hannah Shooter winning the men’s and women’s respectively.

Next event in the Midlands Series is the Southwell Sprint Triathlon on Sunday 5th May.

As suspected, the Southwell Sprint Triathlon taking place on Sunday 5^th May is now FULL. Once again, another one of our events has filled to capacity in record time. There is currently no waiting list but please follow us on Facebook or Twitter for regular updates.

Our re-arranged summer duathlon at Clumber Park on Saturday 11^th May still has entries open – for the moment.
