GO TRI Nottingham

NEW FOR 2015!

A new low-cost triathlon format at the popular National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. Events will have the high quality organisation you expect from One Step Beyond, without the frills.

This new midweek series is aimed at everyone from seasoned triathletes who want to squeeze in an extra race to complete novices who want to experience triathlon for the first time in a lower key environment.

We have teamed up with Triathlon England to offer the region's first GO TRI events, which are targeted directly at novices.

For the competitive types, there are overall prizes for League winners for the Super Sprint distance, see scoring below and a discount on entering all four races.

The races take place in open water, on a closed circuit for the bike and around the country park for the run. Parking is on site and free of charge.

We've included all of the usual OSB features like a secure transition and excellent safety provision, but to save costs we have taken away things like chip timing, event t-shirts and medals.

Super Sprint League Scoring

Every competitor who enters any event will automatically be entered into the league and will receive a score based on their finishing position at the event(s).

Each competitor will receive a score based upon their overall finishing position in each event. Starting with 1000 points for 1st place, 999 for 2nd place 998 for 3rd place right through to the final competitor who completes the course.

Prizes will be issued to the top 3 male and female competitors who complete all 4 league events.
