Sherwood Pines - provisional results

Massive congratulations to all those that took part in yesterdays Robin Hood Adventure Challenge. For the second year running, the headlines were all about the weather - sadly not the sort that we would like. From tents being blown into trees, flags disappearing into the sky, wetsuits being the best clothing for the duathlon, sightings of mud monsters in Sherwood and even having to make a very late forced decision to amend the course.

As the saying goes, ‘these things are sent to test us’ and they certainly did.

We are pleased to have a first set of results for the duathlon here and trail runs here. Use the Results tab on the right of the page.

Robin Hood Adventures Challenge - provisional results online

Well what a day that was…Congratulations to all those that competed on Saturday. In all of the years we have been organising events, I’m not sure we have had any as wet & dirty as Saturday.

We would like to make a very special mention to all of the volunteers that helped, especially by staying around until well into darkness to help pack everything away.

Robin Hood Adventure Challenge - ON THE DAY ENTRIES

All pre-event entries for Saturdays event at Sherwood Pines Forest Park have now closed, but please do not despair there are still entries available for all of the events this weekend:

• Evil Sheriff Off Road Duathlon, inc. National Cross Duathlon Champs
• Robin Hood 10K Trail
• Maid Marian 5K Trail
• Little John 2K Dash

If you do wish to enter on the day, please remember to bring cash with you & there will be an additional £5 on top of the normal fees.
