About One Step Beyond Promotions

One Step Beyond has over 15 years experience in event management and organization. Originally started in 1991 by Iain Hamilton, One Step Beyond have now organized over 115 multi-sport events, including over 20 National Triathlon Championships with a small dedicated team of professional organizers.

The One Step Beyond team have backgrounds as diverse as military trained PTI's to customer service team leaders. The team have a total of over 50 years in event management experience and over 30 years of experience in competing in various sporting events all over the world.

Teresa Hamilton - Managing Director
In 2003, Teresa Hamilton became Managing Director, with the aim to increase participation and the One Step Beyond portfolio of events. Specializing in customer services, Teresa is the friendly supportive office based contact for all of the athletes. Over the past 3 years, One Step Beyond has increased their number of participants by 250% to over 8000 annually and has increased its portfolio of events to 8.

Iain Hamilton - Event Director
With a back ground of professional sports, Iain Hamilton brings the knowledge of many years experience racing around the World in major sporting events including many European and World Triathlon Championships. As the original founder of One Step Beyond Promotions, Iain has been the Event Director to over 100 sporting events and brings with him a wealth of understanding of major event organizing.

Adam Moffat - Development Director
Adam has 10 years experience in event organisation, ranging from small scale corporate activity days, to operating as lead co-ordinator and site manager for multi-dimensional events with in excessive of 20,000 attendees. These include fireworks displays and street carnivals. Adam has worked casually with One Step Beyond for the last 5 years and has recently been brought into the organisation on a permanent basis to develop the event portfolio and range of services that the organisation is capable of providing.
