The VUE Emergency Services National Triathlon Championship is once again being run at the National Water Sports Centre, which is just 10 minutes from the City Centre of Nottingham and is a fantastic venue which plays host to a variety of National and International events. It is an ideal for venue for both competitors/spectators and makes for a great day out.
The event is a sprint triathlon comprising of a 750m open water swim in the lake, a 20k cycle and a 5k run, all held within the grounds of the venue and therefore completely traffic free.
All competitors that have a confirmed entry will need to register on the morning of the race which will take place between 10:00 and 11:00 in the race registration cabin where you will collect your timing chip and race numbers.
The race will start in front of the boathouses at 12 noon and will finish in front of the main grandstand. There will also be a complementary BBQ for all competitors.
Whether you are a seasoned triathlete or a novice, if you are in the Emergency Services and would like to enter, this race is definitely for you. Entry is open to both individuals and relay teams (one swimmer, one cyclist, one runner).
