Z3R0D Club Relays – time to get organised

Entries are now flooding in for this year’s Z3R0D Club Relay Championships which take place on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th August at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham.
Often described as the ‘social’ event of the season, as teams of four, all swim, all bike & all run in a relay format. Now in it’s 24th year, the Z3R0D Club Relays give clubs the chance to race & socialize like no other event. With many of the clubs staying onsite at the massive camp site minutes from the start.
The events are split into three separate races, with the Saturday morning – mixed category race already 80% sold out. The Saturday afternoon and Sunday still have plenty of space, but entries are coming in thick and fast.
Wakefield Tri Club have the biggest entry with 19 teams, just pipping BRATS by one team. As part of the Z3R0D sponsorship, the team captains from the 10 biggest clubs will receive a £200 voucher for all their hard work in organising their teams.

Entries are really starting to come in for the 2014 Z3R0D Club Relays incorporating the Triathlon England Relay Championships.
If you’ve not done this event before, then to explain it simply, it’s all about fun, fun, fun. It’s the only chance of the whole year when you get to race together with your team and club mates.
You don’t need to be an official club or team to take part, you just need four like minded people that enjoy swimming, biking and running - in a relay.
All of the racing is within the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham - fully closed road racing circuit with camping & partying for everyone just across the road!

Zoot Club Relays…the sun still shines

Another great weekend of racing at the National Water Sports Centre. Once again the sun gods shone proudly over us - maybe on Sunday afternoon anyway.
Over 500 different teams raced over the two days, from European Champions, Ironman Champions to Honey Bees, and men dressed as women. (It wouldn’t be the relays without men being dressed as women.)

We have finally managed to compile the final team list for this weekends Zoot Club Relays. We know how difficult it has been this year for the team managers to get their teams confirmed and we are very grateful for their efforts.

If there are any mistakes, we will be able to change the Team Categories and Team Eligibility at registration, but sorry we are now unable to change individual team member details…sorry!
