SOUTHWELL SPRINT TRIATHLON DOMINATED BY TFN

Over 500 triathletes completed the Southwell Sprint Triathlon, Race 1 in the Timex Sprint Triathlon Series today. The day was dominated by TFN based athletes.

In the mens event, TFN sponsored race team TFN 2XU athletes took all of the first 4 places, with Nick Dunn taking the overall honours by 20 seconds. Second and third place athletes Mark Redwood and Mark Couldwell tied in a time of 48.49 and could only by split by electronic timing.

In the womens event, TFN Tri Club athletes Louise Collins and Verity Butler took first and second respectively.

The second race in the Timex Sprint Triathlon Series takes place on Sunday 27th May at the Woodhall Spa Sprint Triathlon.
