MANSFIELD SPRINT PROVISIONAL RESULTS

Provisional results from todays Mansfield Sprint Triathlon are available from the results page.

Only 2 weeks since Race 1 in the Timex Sprint Series but it seemed as if time had stood still, with identical clear overall winners in both the mens and womens categories.

Andy Tarry racing for 2XU TFN RT again smashed his own course record by 28 seconds to finish in 42mins 30secs. Runner up and improving quickly was Equus athlete Richard Trare in 45mins 22secs, with third male overall Nick Dunn also 2XU TFN RT just 11 seconds behind.

Emilie Verooken racing for Team MI Racing also dominated in the womens event winning by over 3 mins in 52mins 8 seconds. Runner up was Wakefield Tri Club athlete Vicki Burrows in 55mins 45secs, with third place women again, 11 seconds behind, Rhona Makepeace, racing for Leicester Tri.

The third event in the Timex Series takes place on Sunday 15th June at Woodhall Sprint Triathlon, Lincoln.
