Become an Outlaw
Legend has it that Outlaws roamed the forests of Nottinghamshire robbing from the rich to give to the poor. They were fast and cunning on foot, skilful horsemen and possessed exceptional endurance to outrun the evil sheriff’s men.
In modern times, Outlaws swim, bike and run. They undertake the world’s toughest one day endurance challenge, and those who complete it are celebrated, even by the Sheriff of Nottingham!
On the August 8th 1,000 athletes will join together at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham to take part in the UK’s premier Iron distance event - The Outlaw Triathlon!.
The event will be part of the Riverside Festival which will bring together 30,000+ people onto the banks of the River Trent for a weekend of celebration, music, arts, fireworks and TRIATHLON!!!
Fantastic Polar Giveaway
Polar RS800CX MULTI Training System
Polar’s new high end training package gives you an incredible amount of training information. Along with a heart rate monitor (HRM) you get a GPS sensor that you can use for both cycling and running and PC software to make sense of all the figures.
The G3 GPS unit, which weighs 95g and straps around your arm, sends speed and distance data that’s displayed on the watch, and it also records your route. Once downloaded it’ll show where you’ve been using Polar’s software via Google Earth, changes in line colour indicating how your exercise intensity varied along the way.
It’s stunning stuff. If you like to plan and analyse your training sessions, you’ll be in heaven. (Source: Triathlon Plus, taster issue 09)

Hey Guys
Loving the new website and really excited about the outlaw.
Entering was really easy and I met my first target of being one of the first to enter!
Will entries for the training camps be online as well?
Keep up the good work!
Anna
Hi Anna - great to hear you’re enjoying the new site & have registered for the Outlaw.
Yes, training camp entries will be available online - hopefully from around early December time.
