Cambridge Half Marathon - 1000 entries gone in 24 hours

Within 24 hours of opening the Cambridge Half Marathon, over one third of the entries have already been sold. And amazingly, the split between men & women is nearly 50/50, with over 450 of the first 1000 entries coming from women.

Adam Moffat, race director said “The interest in the Cambridge Half Marathon pre event was massive, with over 2000 people requesting further information but we did not expect to take so many entries on the first day. We had hoped that when we confirmed the city centre route people would be as excited as we were and quite clearly they are. We would just like to get everyone to enter as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as our limit of 3000 can not be increased. We are really pleased that the people and especially the women of Cambridge have shown their support for the event, with nearly half of the entries being women, it’s just great”
