Calling all Outlaws

Don’t forget that this weekend (Sunday 29 June) is final opportunity for you to withdraw from the Outlaw and still receive a percentage of your entry fee back. We know that when people withdraw they are always upset, but it is worse when they withdraw and don’t get any money back either.

You have until Sunday at midnight to decide and let us know ([email protected]). If you do withdraw this year, you will have an exclusive opportunity to enter the event next year, 24 hours before general entries open. However, if you’re injured and still wish to enjoy the day you can consider just doing the swim and bike, and then enjoy cheering everyone else home. The experience of doing this could set you up nicely to practice pacing and nutrition strategy, especially if you have another big race planned in the future. You might not get to cross the finishing line, but it could be much more enjoyable than sitting at home. Even one of our former winners has done this having won in 2012 and being unable to run and defend her title in 2013.

Entries for the 2015 Outlaw Half will open in early August and entries for the 2015 Outlaw will open in early September.
