The date of the 2011 Outlaw Triathlon has been confirmed as Sunday 24 July. Subject to final approval from local authorities, athletes will be welcomed back to the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham, next year, following the first ever Outlaw long distance Triathlon on 8th August this year.
A mixed bag of sporting events will also take place at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont on Saturday 23 July, making a full weekend of sporting action in Nottinghamshire, the Sporting County.
Organiser, Iain Hamilton said:
“We’re pleased to confirm 24 July as the date of the Outlaw. We are working in close consultation with county authorities and aiming to launch the event next month subject to signing off all of the required permissions.
“We are making some adjustments to the course for next year but our intention is that the Outlaw offers a course that is scenic, fast and accessible to a broad community of long distance and potential new long distance athletes. Any changes will only enhance the event in 2011!
“The start and finish will remain at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, with both the swim and run courses unchanged. We are finalising a new bike course, working closely with interested parties.”

great to hear you are going ahead with the outlaw next year. i did it this year and had a great time . i haven’t stop talking about it and now have some of my mates looking to do it next year. hope to see you then.
when is the entry opening for the outlaw 2011? dont want to miss this one….

At the moment we are just waiting on the councils getting back to us so we can then open up the event.
Hopefully it won’t be too long until we can open it.

Yes the event will include team entries.
