Win a QR Kilo bike from the Outlaw Triathlon
July 1, 2011
Competitors in the Outlaw Triathlon and Speedo Big Swim Nottingham are invited to put themselves into the mix to win a Quintana Roo Kilo triathlon bike worth £1250.
QR is the bike partner of the Outlaw, and is offering a brand new bike in return for raising a few pounds for the official charity, British Heart Foundation. Every competitor taking part and raising some money for the BHF will be entered into a prize draw to win the bike.
We suggest you set your fundraising target at £100 – not an insurmountable figure to raise with a month to go until the start. All fundraisers, no matter how much or how little they raise, will be eligible to win the QR Kilo bike.
Just imagine yourself winning and riding that aerodynamic QR Kilo bike… It is made from lightweight AN6 alloy aluminium and has wind tunnel designed seatstays. It’s a serious entry-level triathlon bike! That should be enough motivation to ask your friends and family for a few quid for a really good cause!
All you need to do is set up a JustGiving page, where the Outlaw is already set up as an event, or visit http://www.bhf.org.uk/get-involved/fundraising.aspx to download a fundraising pack – let us know via our Facebook page if you are raising money the old fashioned way, otherwise we won’t know to enter you into the draw! The winner will be published on http://www.facebook.com/OutlawTriathlon by 1 August.
The British Heart Foundation has a vision to work towards a world where people don’t die prematurely from heart disease. Your donations will really help, so please get involved!
There’s another opportunity to win prizes too. By entering the Speedo Big Swim Nottingham before 1 July you could win a Speedo wetsuit, so visit https://www.onestepbeyond.org.uk to enter now!
